American PCS Cybersecurity Grants

American PCS Inc. is committed to enhancing cybersecurity for nonprofit organizations, which often lack the resources to protect their important data and digital assets. Recognizing this critical need, we have established a dedicated fund to empower nonprofits in the Council Bluffs and Omaha Metro Area through state-of-the-art cybersecurity services.

These cybersecurity grants offer eligible nonprofits access to comprehensive cybersecurity services to safeguard their operations against cyber threats, so they can continue to serve the public without disruption. We invite all qualifying nonprofits to apply for this opportunity.

There are many cybersecurity tools that can help strengthen your organization’s defenses.  After much consideration, it was determined that penetration testing would provide the most impact to prevent compromise and will be the focus of our first grant.

Cybersecurity Penetration Grant Application

Penetration testing, also known as pen testing, is a simulated attack against your network and computer systems to check for exploitable vulnerabilities.  It is a reliable and effective way to discover your cybersecurity gaps before they are discovered by hackers and cyber criminals - giving you an opportunity to resolve the findings before it is too late.  Once the test has been completed, American PCS will identify and prioritize key findings and even provide remediation guidance to resolve them.

More information on our penetration testing services can be found here:  https://www.american-pcs.com/penetration-testing/

Cybersecurity Assessment Grant Application

A cybersecurity assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of an organization's network, systems, and e-mail to identify potential risks and ensure best practices are followed.

The importance of such an audit lies in its ability to uncover vulnerabilities and gaps in security before they can be exploited by cyber threats, thereby safeguarding sensitive data and maintaining the integrity of IT systems.  Regular assessments are crucial for maintaining a robust defense against the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats, ensuring that nonprofits can safeguard their operations and the data of those they serve.
